Dairsie is included in the area served by Cupar & District Community Safety Panel.
Cupar & District Community Safety Panel (formerly Crime Prevention) has worked for many years with organisations and groups throughout the Cupar area promoting initiatives to keep you safe in your everyday life. Our current initiatives focus on the three issues of Young People and Community Safety, Road Safety and Home and Neighbourhood Safety, topics within the Fife Community Safety Action Programme. Meetings are held in Cupar Police Office.
We are a group of volunteers from all walks of life who are committed to making our local community a safer place to work and live. We raise funds by our own effort, also seeking sponsors and sourcing grants to develop our action plan. There are several Community Safety Panels throughout Fife. We all have our own pet projects but work as part of the multi agency Fife Community Safety Partnership which includes Fife Police and Fife Council amongst others.
Why not become involved with your local Panel? We welcome positive ideas on how to achieve our aims, Some youngsters from Bell Baxter Pupil Council attend our meetings and are making a valuable contribution. Lots of new activities are being planned for all age groups.
