Dairsie WRI resumes on Friday, September 4, at 7 p.m. There has been a change of programme and the Cupar Quilters will be bringing their acclaimed "Suitcase" of Scottish inspired small quilts. All welcome.

At the recent committee meeting, it was decided to hold the usual autumn quiz night in the hall on Saturday, October 3, at 7 pm. The quizmaster reported that interest in the evening had been expressed by the Dairsie Inn and they had already presented two exceptionally good prizes which would compliment the usual array. It was hoped for a good turnout and in order to encourage participation entrance will remain at £5 per table of four. Sandwiches and small eats will be provided and the bar will be open. Booking may be made through Carol Owen, the chairperson.
The sacrament of baptism will be held on Sunday at 9.45 am, St. John's morning service 11.15 am, Sunday youth groups - church hall. United service in the Old Parish Church to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Scottish Bible Society at 6.30 pm. Usual mid-week service at St. John's.
During the morning service on Sunday, three children were baptised in the church at Dairsie by the minister, Rev. Sheila Blount. They were Abbey Bell, Kenzie Alister Reid and Kieran Logan Reid.
