The group are currently preparing for this year's fundraiser which is going to be a baby and toddler table top sale on Saturday, 5th June from 10 am until noon in Dairsie Memorial Village Hall. If you are interested in having a table to sell any of your surplus baby clothing or toys then contact us to book one. It's a great way to have a spring clean and sort out all the things that the children have grown out of. We are looking for nearly new clothing, toys, books and suitable items in good condition. No broken or soiled items please. The way it works is similar to a car boot sale. You only pay for your table and anything you sell on the day is yours to keep. We will be advertising around all the local baby and toddler groups and through word of mouth so please spread the word. Stalls, raffle, home-baking, tea and coffee, etc, on the day. If anything is left at the end of the sale you will have the choice of taking it home or leaving it to be donated to a suitable local or other charity. Please contact Marianne or Fiona to book a place. The entry fee goes to support the Dairsie Tots Group.
A musical evening in the church with the Haydays Singers brought the Guild year to a close. The lovely singing, the wide selection of songs and the funny stories made for a most enjoyable evening. The noisy and happy chat afterwards over a coup of tea proved how successful the evening had been.
The Hall Committee thanks all who supported the recent coffee morning which raised £296 for hall funds. The next event will be the quiz night on 15th May, so why not come along and enjoy a relaxed evening.
The Quiz night is upon us, so why not get some friends together and come down to the hall on Saturday evening for a fun night out.
Christian Aid Week in Dairsie ends with a "Rich and Poor Tea" on Sunday in the church hall, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Six teams battled it out for the chance to lift the winners trophy in the hugely enjoyable spring quiz. After ten hard fought rounds presided over by question mistress Margaret Roberts, the prophetically titled winners team consisted of Norma Davis, Stuart Ferguson, John and Jo Topliss, ran out emphatic victors. Second place went to "the Alliance", with the "McGoofays'" finishing third. The next of these relaxed quiz nights is in the autumn, so why not come along then and support your hall.
Last week we were asked to put money in the Christian Aid envelopes to help some of the worlds poorest families and Dairsie responded generously as usual with £260 being collected. Thanks to all the collectors. A further £56 was raised at the "Rich and Poor Tea" held on Sunday to end Christian Aid week.
The group would like to thank everyone who turned out to help with the toy clean last week. All your help was greatly appreciated. Remember a date in your diary: The baby and toddler table top sale on Saturday June 5, from 10 a.m. - noon. Door open sharp at 10 a.m. so even if you are off to the Cupar Gala there is still time to pop in before you go!
